Save a web app to your device’s homescreen.

Add your community website as a home screen shortcut in any device.

On desktop computers

Google Chrome

  • Open the website you want to save.
  • Click the three-dot menu in the top-right corner.
  • Go to Save and share > Create shortcut OR Install App.
  • Give the shortcut a name and choose to open it in a new window if you prefer.
  • Click Create.

Microsoft Edge

  • Open the website you want to save.
  • Click the three-dot menu in the top-right corner.
  • Hover over Apps and select Install this site as a web app.
  • In the pop-up, you can choose to pin it to the taskbar or start menu.
  • Click Install.

All browsers (Drag and drop)

  • Open the website and resize the browser window so you can see your desktop.
  • Click and hold the icon (like a padlock) to the left of the address bar.
  • Drag the icon from the address bar and drop it onto your desktop. A new shortcut will be created.

On mobile devices

Android (Chrome)

  • Open the website in Chrome.
  • Tap the three-dot menu in the top-right corner.
  • Tap Install app or Add to Home screen.
  • Confirm by tapping Install or Add.
  • The app icon will appear on your home screen.

iOS (Safari)

  • Open the website in Safari.
  • Tap the Share button (a square with an arrow pointing up).
  • Scroll down and select Add to Home Screen.
  • Choose a name for the shortcut and tap Add.
