Starting new Topics and Replying by Email
You can start topics or reply to them entirely through Email. There are various links in each email for convenience.
You can also configure a custom email address for use with any group, using the Display e-mail address (or Vanity e-mail address in newer versions) field in the group profile.
Go to the group page, click the Update Profile button, or use the Manage Group left menu > Update Profile link.
Under the General tab you’ll find these settings. After changing them, click Save Profile to apply. Note: for the custom email address to work you must use the same sub domain as your community installation. For example: custom-email@connect.mydomain.org
When people send emails to this custom email address, it will post new topics/threads. Reply email addresses are not custom and look something like: forum-123@connect.mydomain.org.
