Create Custom Content/ Manage Templates

Create templates and other custom content such as

email invitations, email footers, headers, backgrounds, menus, the homepage.

1. How to Create a Custom Template

  • Log into the community, on the top right hand corner, select Admin. You will need Admin permissions to access this content.

  • Under the Administration menu on the left, click on the drop down button Custom Content. Then select Manage Content.

  • To manage a previous template click on the desired name. You will be able to make changes and preview the existing template.

  • Click on + Create New to begin with a blank form.

  • Type the Name of your template.
  • Use the symbols drop down to add personalization to your content. In the example below, “Hey, $Person.FirstName$” will automatically call the recipients by their first name.
  • Add text to the body of your content. It can be the organization’s information, contact, social media. Add hyperlinks, embed videos, pictures, logos.

  • Use File Manager to upload pictures or videos.
  • To add a hyperlink to a picture or video, insert the picture and while still selected, click on hyperlink.
  • Insert the URL that you want to link to and save.

  • At the bottom of the page, Preview, Save, and Publish Changes.

  • To add custom content to the site, go to your group and select Update Profile.
  • Go to the Content Tab, here select where you want the content to be displayed.
  • Type the name you gave your template and select it from the list. Save profile.
